You are running a service business which means you either have to do the following or know how to get the right help to do the following: marketing, bookkeeping, client follow up, administrative details, web site creation, technology management, education, etc. while coordinating with family, getting exercise, good meals, and free time plus seeing friends. I have been doing the same for a lifetime and designed systems to make it all work.

Because I spent 13 years studying under a Taoist master, then a Tibetan Buddhist master, as I wanted everything in my life to evolve with a conscious choice, I have great expertise in this area. I am really good in my business, but struggle with trying to get all elements balanced.  It feels like I don’t have the gene. Is there realistic help for people like me?

It sounds like it might be helpful, but where do you think I would ever find the time? Frankly, I think it would take so much time for this renewal process that I just could not keep up at home, or serve my clients.

Question 6.

I am doing all right financially, but have a lot of operating expenses. I need to put any extra money into advertising. How can I justify spending at this point?

• The reality is that you cannot afford to not get help. This isn’t a question of “extra money”. This is a matter of putting the keel in the boat if you want to be able to steer it.

• If you were only making 15 to 20K  I would still say that, if you are serious about this business and want success, borrow the money and lay down a foundation of granite instead of sand.

• When our lives are slowed by glitches and bumps in the road, there is no way to move up to full speed. 

• With time an organization shakes apart from the internal stresses unless you eliminate them. Not to mention how you, the sole proprietor, can get shaken apart when you don’t eliminate stresses.
